Job Description :
- To exhibit an excellent standard of customer care in all communications, striving to deliver a world-class support experience.
- To exhibit the communication skills necessary to provide assistance to remote users, via Live Chat, telephone and email.
- To conduct all duties in line with policies, processes and procedures.
To provide first line IT support to users for Incidents and Requests, resolving incidents and completing requests according to agreed targets and SLAs.
- To solve incidents using either documented solutions in the Knowledge Base or using troubleshooting skills to identify the cause and resolve the issue.
- To accurately perform administrative tasks, for both technical and business systems and services.
- To provide advice and guidance to users on good practice for the use of IT equipment.
- To support documentation maintenance as required.
- To contribute to growing and maintaining the Knowledge Base and Self Help articles for users.
- To undertake any tasks and duties as required by management.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and highlighting them to management where applicable.
- To identify themes of incidents, contributing to proactive Problem Management to remove the root cause of a recurring issue.
Skills:
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Confidence in liaising with users irrespective of nationality.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to capture data accurately.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include excellent knowledge of Outlook.
- Ability to troubleshoot situations where there is no clear process step.
- Good interpersonal skills able to work confidently with all levels of staff including senior management.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and operate with limited supervision.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
- Well-presented person with a service orientation.
- Ability to work within time and resource constraints.
- Calm and flexible approach to work.
- Must be customer focused and highly professional.
- Demonstrable successful experience in working with customers/users.
- Flexible attitude to working unsociable hours as dictated by the needs of the business Hours of work will be on a shift rota basis covering 18/5 (supporting Europe and India based users) and moving to 24/5 later in 2015.
