JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Candidate must be BE/ME in Computer Science or IT
- Candidate must have Excellent logical thinking and problem solving skills
- Candidate must have Knowledge of Java/J2EE development/programming
- Candidate must have Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Postgres and other RDBMS
- Candidate must posses Good verbal and written communication in English
- Candidate must have Knowledge of tools like ANT, Eclipse etc (desirable)
- Candidate must be Familiarity with Linux OS, scripts and commands (desirable)
- Candidate Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting , analytical and problem solving skills. (desirable)
- Linux Shell script (desirable)
- CVS and Git for version control (desirable)

About the Role and Responsibilities Location: Bangalore, IN

Key Responsibilities:
This position is for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) that will work on security products. The engineering team at McAfee is seeking a self-motivated Dev engineer who is passionate about quality and innovation in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Work closely with onsite and offsite engineering teams in a high intensity, high bandwidth environment
Work well with a remote development/QA team using your excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
Work well with mainline projects owning components and thus requiring less supervision
Design and implement test tools and jigs in C/C++, C#, or VB.NET
Utilize innovative test technologies  to develop product’s testing strategy
Perform debugging and troubleshooting in variety of local and remote testing environments.
 
Qualifications Required Experience/Skills & Education:
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Dev engineer with demonstrated ability in the following areas:
 
1.Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Java, C, C++, C#, VB.NET, Python, Perl
2.Strong verbal & written communication skills
3.Able to prioritize and complete concurrent projects
4.Good organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and a variety of demands
5.Strong self-motivation and the ability to work as a team member
6.BE or B.Tech . (preferably in Computer Science or related field)/ MCA
